What I brought back were bins full of C32B engine parts from a barn-find NSX. The factory interior panels were warped and damaged, made from a cardboard-like material that doesn’t hold up over time. In this episode, we start the process of "reverse-engineering" those parts using 3D scanning, CAD cleanup, and 3D printing—laying the foundation for custom carbon fiber replacements. This episode covers the first step in transforming the NSX interior the right way. Rescuing the Last Legend – Episode 8 (Part 1): From Cardboard to Carbon | NSX Interior Rebuild
In this episode, we prep the NSX for its full wrap. I remove the taillights, mirrors, and door panels—fighting through rusted hardware, glue, and old spoiler studs. After a full wash, clay, wet sand, compound, and polish session, the paint finally looks smooth again. We replace the damaged passenger fender, install the NSX-R front chassis support bars, and reassemble the front end so the car can be loaded onto the trailer and taken to the wrap shop.
